The North Shore Center for the Performing Arts is fully compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and is committed to providing a comfortable, inclusive experience for all patrons.

If you have specific access needs, our staff is always happy to assist. Please don’t hesitate to ask.
Accessibility
Guests with Limited Mobility
The Center offers a variety of features to support guests with limited mobility, including:
  • Convenient, accessible drop-off locations at the West and North entrances
  • Numerous accessible parking spaces near the facility
  • Wheelchair-accessible seating in both theatres for guests who wish to remain in their wheelchairs or transfer to a theatre seat
  • Companion seating available adjacent to wheelchair locations
  • Secure storage of wheelchairs and walkers during performances, with items returned at intermission or after the show upon request
  • Fully accessible restrooms, box office windows, and concession stand
If you require accessible seating, please inform your ticket agent at the time of purchase so availability can be confirmed.

For guests who prefer seating without stair access, the following rows offer step-free access:

George Van Dusen Theatre: Row T and Row CC (upstairs)
North Theatre: Row G

If you need step-free seating or would like help selecting the most accessible option for your visit, please contact the Box Office when purchasing tickets.
Accessibility
Guests with Hearing Impairments
The North Shore Center for the Performing Arts offers a hearing loop system for audio assistance. Guests with hearing aids equipped with a T-coil (telecoil) setting may access audio through the loop system during performances.

In addition, the Center offers a Listen! System LR-4200, a headset and receiver assisted listening device available by speaking with one of our House Managers.

Assistive listening devices are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please check with the House Manager upon arrival for current availability and instructions.
