The Opera Festival of Chicago returns with its sixth season of unforgettable events. La Boheme, a poignant opera, follows poor young artists set in 1830s Paris, focusing on the tragic passionate love story between poet Rudulfo and seamstress Mimi, set against themes of poverty, friendship and the fleeting nature of youth and happiness. Their struggles and romance unfold with unforgettable music, capturing universal emotions of joy, loss and heartbreak in their bohemian lives. This fully staged productions is accompanied by the Opera Festival of Chicago Orchestra.
