Music of the Baroque Orchestra
Concertmaster Gina DiBello leads the Music of the Baroque Orchestra in Vivaldi’s iconic Four Seasons, an evocative musical journey through the different times of year. As Chicago Classical Review wrote of Gina DiBello’s last performance of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, “From top to bottom DiBello was an assured soloist whose personality-plus playing was crucial to [this] reconsideration of these well-known works.” Join Music of the Baroque in this one-hour concert for its very first live performance of its 50th season!
“One of Chicago’s musical glories”
– Opera News
“Lyric Opera of Chicago and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra may be the big guys on the local classical music scene, but in terms of sheer quality of performance…Music of the Baroque inhabits the same stratosphere.”
– The Chicago Sun-Times
