In 1979 Washington D.C., socialite Hester Ferris throws posh dinner parties that can change the course of politics. But when her son turns up with an ambitious Reagan-ite girlfriend and a shocking new world view, it ignites a family divide that spans over 30 years and six presidential administrations. As power shifts from one generation to the next, a family struggles to maintain ties while on opposite sides of the partisan fence.

Patrons will join together in the North Shore Center Grand Lobby for music performances by Jeff & Janis, Kol Sasson and Maxwell Street Klezmer Band. As patrons take in these delightful musical groups, they also will enjoy a delicious buffet style cold menu brunch from The Bagel Restaurant & Deli.
The North Shore Center for the Performing Arts Foundation celebrates the 20th Anniversary of the Center with hors d’oeuvres and dessert receptions before and after the performance by the legendary Art Garfunkel on Wednesday, November 16. Through this all-day, all-ages, fun-filled experience, “kids with the blues” as well as the “adult weekend-warrior” will form ensemble groups, rehearse Chicago-style blues under the direction of highly-qualified instructors led by Fernando Jones from the Blues Kids Foundation, and then wrap the day with a mainstage concert performance in front of a live public audience. Blues Camp is specifically designed for all levels of skill with ensembles and instruction for beginner, intermediate and advanced level musicians. Blues Camp Day at the North Shore Center is produced by the Blues Kids Foundation under the direction of Fernando Jones.
